I am..

As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent woman, I bring both lived experience and professional expertise to my practice. I understand the unique challenges of navigating a world thats not built with neurodivergent minds in mind. I’m passionate about helping others find clarity, confidence, and community.

Whether you're exploring Autism, ADHD, or other forms of neurodivergence, I offer tailored support that honours your lived reality.

My practice is sensory-aware, flexible, and designed to meet you where you are at, whether that means adjusting communication styles, pacing sessions differently, or validating nonlinear progress.

I am currently undertaking training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), I have also completed a range of other trainings and qualifications not listed here, each contributing to the depth, flexibility, and affirming nature of my practice.

What experience do I bring to the role?

I bring experience across community mental health, hospital settings, and employee assistance programs, where I’ve supported and continue to support adults and families navigating complex life transitions. My work has included pregnancy support, housing and homelessness advocacy, and drug and alcohol counselling, always grounded in harm-reduction, trauma-informed practice, and a deep commitment to relational safety.

I’ve also worked extensively in family and youth services, offering strengths-based support to young people navigating identity, neurodivergence, and systemic barriers. Across all roles, I’ve held space for stories often overlooked, and continue to centre empowerment, accessibility, and intersectional practice in everything I do.

Therapy approachs:

Therapy with me is adaptable, collaborative, and tailored to meet you where you are. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach here. I honour your lived experience and adapt our work to suit your needs, preferences, and pace. I also welcome humour and light-hearted moments when they feel right, as genuine connection can be a powerful source of resilience and hope.

You are not broken and you do not need to be fixed. My role is not to change who you are, but to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your strengths, clarify your values, and rediscover what brings you joy. Together, we’ll create space for self-understanding, self-compassion, and meaningful growth.

My practice is informed by a range of therapeutic approaches—including solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies. These frameworks offer valuable tools, but I don’t work from a fixed formula. I draw on them adaptively, weaving in lived experience, relational insight, and what feels most useful to each person. Together, we shape a therapeutic process that’s responsive, collaborative, and grounded in your unique needs, values, and strengths.

Together, we’ll explore practical strategies to support your emotional well-being, self-esteem, and self-compassion.

We can also deepen your understanding of executive functioning, sensory preferences, identity, and the impact of shame, creating space for insight, growth, and self-acceptance.

I integrate psychoeducation throughout the therapeutic process, translating complex concepts into accessible, neurodivergent-affirming resources. Together, we explore wellbeing goals, build sustainable coping strategies, and foster self-understanding in ways that feel safe, flexible, and empowering.

My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming and sex worker-friendly, grounded in intersectional understanding, offering respectful, non-judgmental support to all identities and lived experiences.

When I am not at work

Outside of work, you’ll find me soaking up nature, swimming in the sea (even when it’s questionably cold), and borrowing friends’ dogs for emotional support and walkies. I’m often head-down in a book, experimenting with cooking (results range from gourmet to “I tried”), and enjoying movies and TV shows that span from critically acclaimed to deeply questionable. I also make time for rest and spontaneous dancing.
